bad breath
Gremlin asked:

It’s been going on for about a week. I first noticed the bad breath, which I thought was because she got into some rotten chicken eggs in the back yard. But she just peed in the house–and the urine smelled strongly and had the odor of her breath.

It is a sign to take her to the vet. Rotten chicken eggs? You shouldn’t leave your dog outside unsupervised!

    Possibly multiple problems.

The breath can be bad teeth. Their teeth need cleaning from time to time and their diet will also effect the breath. Some foods give off more gas for the return trip. Maybe she found something outside that she is eating that is giving her stomach problems

The pee that is a strong color and strong smell can also be an indication of different things. One is lack of enough water. Dehydration make the urine more condensed and more yellow and stronger smell. Some diseases can cause similar conditions.

It she shows signs of distress or it continues, call your vet.

You need to brush their teeth everyday if you already do that then take it to a vet.

    Hope this helps.

you need to get a vet it may be the eggs but this could be diabetic.or a bad infection, poison.

    Go to the vet.

Why have an animal if you don’t take care of it? Water/food alone is not caring for your living, breathing member of your family. (Once you brought the dog home – it became a member of your family!)

Take your dog to the vet.
