Just recently this weekend my Green Wing Macaw has gotton very bad breath what can cause this & what can i do?

got to go to the VET NOW birds dont show signs of inlness in less there really sick so go to the VET NOW!!!!!!!!!

Have you changed his diet? try giveing him ASweet Corn Cob(take off the leaves) has he got a Mineral block or Cuttlefish bone have you given it any new Nuts?also try him with a little husked rice boiled,try any of these ! keep an eye on his droppings you can find out lots of things from these if they get very watery take him to a vet.

Sometimes a bird can have infection in their mouth or crop if they get really bad breath the bird that started the gabrial foundation died because of an illness in which bad breath was a sign. Take him to the avian vet to get him checked out. better to be safe then sorry.
