bad breath cures
??britt?? asked:

Both my mother and her father have really bad breath. It’s unbarable to talk to them upclose. They can’t seem to rid of it. Now, I’m scarred I’ll get it but I’m not sure if it’s hereditary or some sort of disease? I floss and brush 3-4 times daily but can I still get it? Is there some kind of cure?

I suppose it is not hereditary. It is curable though. You may use medicine or undergo some medical practice to remove the cause of the bad breath. Bad breath is due to bacteria. Consult a doctor if you think you are having bad breath.

ummm, im pretty sure bad breath isnt hereditary. Its probably the food you eat, or your sleeping and eating habits. if u breathe mostly from your mouth when u sleep or when awake, ur going to have bad breath.if u dont eat after you brush your teeth with certain toothpastes ur breath smells bad.

No, it is not hereditary. It usually depends on your diet and how often you brush your teeth. However, if you have Acid reflux disease, your breathe will smell pretty bad. If your breath takes a turn for the worse, chew gum or something.

that stale bad breath smell is bacteria and yes, you can be genetically more susceptible to it. the best thing along with your brushing is to get a tongue scraper. there’s is also the bad breath that comes from eating things like onions and garlic which you can obviously avoid by not eating

Nope, like the other says they must be eating something wrong in their diet. I bet they do have Acid Reflux, which is hereditary. That is what causes bad breath like someone else stated. Though, my mother has Acid Reflux and her breath never smells. I may just go see a doctor. Good Luck!

WOW! You just need a little more information about bad breath. The major cause of bad breath is not the teeth, but the top of the tongue. Bacteria grow there and produce sulfur containing compounds that smell. That is bad breath. All people have some amount of bad breath. It can be measured using a Halimeter.
Oral hygiene: brush and floss you teeth, then clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner that has both a brush and scraper so you clean out the deep indentations on the tongue. Learn more about the cause and cure of bad breath at:
