I really need to look/smell good tonight, but i also need to put something in my stomach. What foods will fill me up but not give me bad breath or make me bloat?

You can eat any thing. But after you eat just take a breath mint.

Nibble on some sliced apple, celery or carrots. Or have a light salad with lettuce, cucumber, celery and sprinkle with lemon juice and olive oil.

Parsely will nutralize anything you eat. However, you seem nervous and worried. Oatmeal will hold you for a while, and it won’t make your mouth smell, and won’t give you acid reflux or gas. It’s simply the perfect food.

apples, celery, mint, yogurt and parsley freshen your breath
lots of protein or sugar might make it stinky, so I would stick with a salad and light protein (think chicken), or with a big bowl of yogurt with fresh fruit.
Avoid fish and sea food, garlic, onions, broccoli, cabbage, sauerkraut and fermented foods in general. They are good for you, but they aren’t first-date food.

Bad breath is caused often because you haven’t brushed and flossed well .If you don’t keep teeth and gums free of the bacterial buildup, they’ll start to cause odor as the bacteria rot leftover food particles in your mouth. A few seeds of cardamom chewed for a brief while will clear your mouth of bad breath. Chew parsley leaves, which are sure to keep your breath fresh. More useful remedies at

Drink WATER. This is a big one. Try to stay away from drinking (cow’s) milk. As others have suggested, apples and celery are wonderful. As are salads, with lots of veggies. Don’t eat Italian dressing because I would think that would leave a garlic aftertaste and smell.
